Let's begin with Paris

I have been soooo lazy, and now there's a to-write-list.... which I'm also too lazy to actually write, it's just a mirage in my head right now...
Paris is big, compared to little Florence, and in a good way. Being used to Florence's tiny streets and walking distances it was nice to finally be able to hail a cab and be on your way. Everything was very Paris as it always and that's the best part.
During my short stay, of course galleries were a major part of my "responsibility", to visit was a pleasure, and at the time, a set goal with determination. Louvre, Pompidou, these two took me two days, and I went back to Pom a second time even though I had only 20 mins to spare, including getting in line to get the ticket. It was more like saying goodbye and see you next time. I had to go, and mentally telling the painting that I would be back soon. Insane, quite.
Hermes and YSL had their exhibitions while I was there, H at this arab exhibition center after moving out of Grand Palais and YSL in Petit Palais for the entire duration of the showing. They were AMAZING. The only disappointment was how Hermes allowed only certain "special visitors" to take photos and prohibiting others... yes very discriminating in every way. Since I wasn't allow to photograph, I had to sneak take some - my friend has the whole collection. So it was a showing of all the major windows displays at their Paris shop with the historical stairway (it was under reconstruction when I went, just like everything else: the Picasso Museum [URGHHHHH], the Opera, around every street corner basically...). It was simply stunning to see how the bags and saddles blended in with all those themes and although they were custom-made just for the occasion, it took some genius energy to do so many beautiful displays.

YSL had dresses and smokings all through the years from I can't remember when. The ones inspired by artworks and places such as India....For example his cocktail dress inspired by Piet Mondrian's work with grids in white, red, yellow and blue. His multicolored feathers dress from 1990, his notorious "Scandal Collection" from 1971  Some of his most famous dresses were there, but too bad no photographs were allowed. The last room was called the Last Ball, (gosh I should have written this earlier, now I really don't remember anything!!), with dozens and dozens of his most gorgeous evening gowns. There was also his hilarious cartoon short movie of "La Vilaine Lulu" and his famous nude photos collection by you-know-whom.
Now just some of my random takes on... things. First, Paris through my sunglasses, beautiful isn't it?

A street artist beside Pom.
Inside Notre Dame and one of those famous concept stores that i can't remember the name of anymore..

I honestly think that I'm losing my English due to all that Italian bombarding my life right now... Please excuse me if you have trouble understanding what I'm trying to say....
